City staff presented a request to extend and expand a software license and support agreement for the city’s PeopleSoft human capital/payroll system (Arco/Oracle) for five years and to increase the maximum expenditure by approximately $4.2 million. The controller’s office said the existing system reaches a 10-year milestone in November and that a five‑year extension would save costs compared with repeated one‑year amendments.
