San Francisco committee backs accepting $50.5 million in HUD funds for housing and community programs
The Government Audit and Oversight Committee voted to forward resolutions authorizing acceptance and expenditure of HUD grant allocations (ESG, HOPWA, CDBG and HOME) for FY2018 into the Board of Supervisors with positive recommendations; staff said most grantees would be maintained at prior funding levels and several programs saw modest increases.
