Committee recommends landmark designation for Greg Angelo Museum after broad public support
The committee voted 3–0 to forward an ordinance that would designate the Greg Angelo Museum at 225 San Leandro Way as a landmark. Planning staff said the Historic Preservation Commission unanimously recommended designation after 55 public comments (48 in support). Dozens of artists and local residents testified in favor during the committee’s public comment period.

The Land Use and Transportation Committee voted May 20 to recommend that the Board of Supervisors designate the Greg Angelo Museum, located at 225 San Leandro Way, as a city landmark under Article 10 of the Planning Code.
