Human Resources Director Mickey Callahan told the committee that the city reached tentative agreements with labor partners for expiring contracts and that ratification votes have been strong. Callahan said SEIU ratified by a 94 percent margin and that most ratification margins were in the 90s, with Local 21 remaining the largest outstanding ratification expected in March. He described the proposed pay terms as a 3 percent increase each year for two years, with a safety‑net mechanism to delay a second‑year increase by six months if revenues fall sharply.
Vice Chair Aaron Peskin moved items 3 through 27 to the full Board with a positive recommendation; the committee carried the motion without opposition.
