Supervisor Tang moved to forward the appointment to the full Board for a Nov. 29 hearing and the committee did so without objection.
Clerk called items 6 through 8, which authorize settlements: an ordinance authorizing settlement of a lawsuit by First National Insurance Company of America against the City and County of San Francisco for $405,000 (item 6); an ordinance authorizing settlement of a lawsuit filed by Beresford Corporation for $52,500 (item 7); and a resolution approving settlement of an unlitigated claim by BHR Operations LLC for $169,263.18 (item 8). The committee heard no public comment and forwarded the ordinances and resolution to the full Board with recommendation without objection.
