Senator Parish introduced resolution 83‑38 LS to recognize the United Nations declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives and to urge a government‑wide approach to implement Guam's Limited Cooperative Association framework (Public Law 37‑147). She told colleagues the resolution is meant to pair the statutory framework with education, outreach and training through the Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) and the University of Guam.
