Rules committee moves to require Form 700 and ethics training for sheriff oversight board members
The Rules Committee voted June 7 to forward an ordinance requiring Form 700 economic interest filings, sunshine and ethics training for members of the Sheriff’s Department Oversight Board and the Office of Inspector General to the full Board of Supervisors with a positive recommendation.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors’ Rules Committee voted unanimously June 7 to forward an ordinance that would require members of the Sheriff’s Department Oversight Board and certain Office of Inspector General appointees to file Form 700 statements of economic interest and complete sunshine and ethics training.
