The committee approved an amendment and forwarded an ordinance to extend the sunset of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission—s Revenue Bond Oversight Committee to Jan. 1, 2025. Supervisor Aaron Peskin proposed adding a non-substantive subsection to acknowledge that the PUC expects to issue revenue bonds to finance capital improvements for the power enterprise; PUC staff said they support continued oversight and transparency for ratepayers.
