Rules Committee holds then forwards mayor’s LAFCo-related appointment after excusing Supervisor Feuer
The committee initially held Item 1 (a Board member appointment to the Local Agency Formation Commission) pending Supervisor Sandy Lee Feuer’s arrival. After allowing her to be excused, the committee moved the item to the full board with a positive recommendation.

Item 1 on the Rules Committee agenda concerned appointing a Board of Supervisors member to a four‑year term on the Local Agency Formation Commission. The Clerk reported a poll dated Feb. 14, 2017 indicating Supervisor Sandy Lee Feuer had expressed interest and other supervisors declined. The committee deferred initial action until Supervisor Feuer arrived to preserve quorum and to hear public comment.
