The Rules Committee voted to convene a closed session on items 8 through 14, all categorized as existing litigation. After the closed session the Deputy City Attorney John Givner reported committee actions: by 3–0 votes the committee forwarded items 9, 10, 13 and 14 to the full Board with recommendation; it voted 3–0 to table item 12 and continued item 11 to the call of the chair. For item 8 the committee recorded a recusal of Supervisor Yee because of a personal relationship with the attorney representing the plaintiff and, by a 2–0 vote, continued that matter to the call of the chair.
Following the report, the committee voted not to disclose discussions that took place during the closed session.
