Chaffee County sets public schedule for 'glitch' amendments to Land Use Code

Chaffee County planning staff presented a schedule to collect public comments and draft a "glitch" bill to fix problems identified in the recently adopted Land Use Code. Miles (planning staff) said the county will open public comment through Together Chaffee County and county email lists, allow roughly 30 days for input, produce draft amendments, bring the drafts to Planning Commission and BOCC work sessions in early August, and schedule Planning Commission and BOCC public hearings in the first two weeks of September (planning commission Sept. 2; BOCC Sept. 9).
