Council issues proclamations, hears public comment and makes appointments
The council presented proclamations (including Delta Sigma Theta's 40th anniversary and April as Public Health Month), heard public comments from local service providers and residents, and approved several board appointments and the consent agenda.

At its April 14 meeting the Lexington City Council presented a proclamation to the Lexington Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., recognizing the chapter's 40th anniversary. The mayor also proclaimed April 2025 as Public Health Month and invited a Davidson County Health Department representative to accept the recognition.
