Senator Stearch presented Senate Bill 131, a measure that revises eligibility and enrollment rules for the concurrent challenge scholarship. The bill replaces a prior requirement that students earn a letter grade of C in concurrent classes with a numeric 2.5 GPA requirement for continued eligibility. Stearch said the change reflects ADHE—s request because many institutions no longer use letter grades for concurrent coursework and instead track a GPA.
