Senator English presented SB 116, which would dissolve the Henderson State University board of trustees and transfer responsibilities to the Arkansas State University System board. The bill also renames the board of Arkansas State University to the Arkansas State University System board of trustees and increases membership from five to seven governor-appointed members with staggered reappointment cycles.
