During public comment and recognition, commissioners heard a request to support a Recovery Ready Community certification process. An unidentified speaker (Speaker 1) outlined that the certification evaluates prevention, treatment and recovery support efforts and said the county’s ASAP overdose prevention committee, together with community partners, is preparing an application with a goal to submit by January 2025.
