EAGLE PASS, Texas — At a special meeting on Nov. 21, 2024, the Eagle Pass Planning and Zoning body approved the preliminary plat for “Unit 5,” a 27.04‑acre subdivision that would create 69 residential lots, two commercial parcels and dedicate 3.67 acres of parkland, city staff said.
Community Development staff told the commission that utilities are present nearby and will be extended into the site, that the applicant has constructed stormwater detention ponds sized for this phase, and that the plat would include about 4,070 linear feet of new 50‑foot public right of way. The staff presentation identified the site near El Indio Highway and Paesto Mancha Elementary and showed planned connections to existing units and future extensions of Patsy Wind Boulevard.
