Committee codifies Medical Marijuana Commission rules on edibles, packaging and advertising

Senator Bledsoe presented amendments for SB440 and SB441 to codify rules already adopted by the Medical Marijuana Commission intended to make medical marijuana products less appealing to children by restricting product shapes, flavors, artwork and requiring tamper-resistant packaging. A bureau witness said the amendments "codify the rules" that the commission adopted through the public rule-making process.
