At the Sept. 23 meeting county staff presented operational reports for the gas department and the transfer station. The gas department reported revenue surpluses for July and August, but Judge Rivera noted the distribution percent loss is "creeping up." County staff said monitored leaks are one of the causes of gas loss and that the auditor and staff will meet this week to review figures.
