The Rowlett City Council held the required public hearing July 16 and adopted the fifth year of the city’s five‑year Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) plan. Assistant City Manager Christoph Bauer said the city expects a HUD formula allocation of about $300,000 for FY2024 and recommended continuing similar program allocations to prior years (public facilities and targeted public services).
