County staff told the court Uvalde County may submit a pre‑application to the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Colonia Fund Construction program for program year 2025 with a maximum request of $1,000,000. Carl said the pre‑application requires a resolution to be eligible and that the county is not committing to a project or match at this stage.
