Wilson County votes to join PACE program, approves ACOG interlocal to administer
The commissioners adopted a resolution establishing a Wilson County PACE program and approved an interlocal agreement with the Alamo Area Council of Governments to administer the program; county officials said there is no monetary risk to the county.

Jack Belton, program liaison for Texas PACE Authority, outlined the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program and the administrative role proposed for the Alamo Area Council of Governments (ACOG). Belton said Texas PACE Authority provides outreach, application assistance and compliance monitoring for jurisdictions that adopt PACE.
