The court also approved an addendum/subscription with Peacemaker Technologies LLC for in-car systems in new sheriff—s office vehicles.
Personnel and pay: The court voted to update the sheriff—s holiday policy so dispatchers cannot carry over holidays (aligning them with patrol deputies and jailers). In a related action the court approved a one-time payout of dispatcher holiday balances totaling $16,832.43 across seven dispatchers, to be paid immediately.
Why it matters: the combined actions aim to modernize emergency communications and field technology while resolving an accumulated payroll liability for dispatch staff.
