Austin County approves promotion and small retirement-match increase in compensation order amendment
The court approved promoting a sheriff's sergeant to a lieutenant/business-administration role with an annualized pay increase and voted to amend the fiscal-year 2024-25 compensation order to raise the county retirement match from 1.50 to 1.60 per committee recommendation.
