Bell County approves subdivision-rule changes adding fire-marshal/ESD certification and driveway-permit requirement

At its Dec. 2 meeting, the Bell County Commissioners Court approved amendments to the county's subdivision regulations that require emergency service districts (ESDs) or a fire marshal to certify that preliminary plats meet construction and development code standards and that all access drives connecting to county roads obtain a driveway permit conforming to standards the court will adopt.
