The Solid Waste Authority voted to authorize staff to proceed with a software replacement project and approved an at-large appointment to the Small Business Advisory Committee. An unnamed presenter explained staff’s recommendation to procure Catalyst through a cooperative purchase for a modern customer-service and tax-assessment platform, with an estimated implementation cost of $342,000 and an ongoing annual support cost of $160,000 to be budgeted in fiscal year 2025. Staff said funds would be reallocated from a FY24 project to initiate the work and replenished in the FY25 budget.
