Board approves California Children's Services plan and budget amendment
Health and Human Services presented updates to the county's California Children's Services plan and requested a budget amendment to reflect a small allocation decrease; the board approved the plan and amendment.

Anna Scott, from Health and Human Services, told the board the California Children's Services (CCS) plan for FY24-25 reflects program restructuring and an allocation slightly lower than last year (about $4,000 less) tied to current caseloads. Scott said that some prior child-health screening responsibilities have shifted to managed care plans and that allocations for foster-care medical oversight and case management have changed.
