The Town of Lewisville Council approved a one-time, half-price reduction in facility rental fees for the Forsyth County Fire Historical Society Inc. The group requested the exemption for its annual banquet and fundraiser scheduled Oct. 4, 2025 at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center.

Staff presented resolution 2024-064 reflecting the council briefing recommendation of a half-price fee reduction. Council member Jane Welch moved approval; the motion passed 6–1 with Council member Ivan Huffman recorded in opposition.
