Polk County board approves bonding amendment, capital items and appointments in November session

Polk County supervisors on Nov. 12 approved multiple resolutions and appointments as part of their regular meeting. Resolutions 52-24 and 53-24 (support and lobbying-type resolutions) passed by voice vote after brief discussion confirming no fiscal impact. Resolution 50-24, which adjusts bonding strategy and preserves levy capacity to enable short-term borrowing for purchases such as sheriff squads, was amended to correct levy numbers and passed.
