Council adopts two east-side development-code changes: limits on contractorsyards and flexible rules for off-site event parking

The council adopted Ordinance 965 to regulate contractors' yards (2-acre cap, 300-foot buffers, screening and prohibitions) and Ordinance 966 to permit conditional off-site parking for event centers and guest ranches; for 966 the council added amendments requiring permeable surfaces or equivalents, a county-engineer-reviewed drainage plan, and relaxed grade thresholds (minimum 0.5%, average 8%, maximum 10%).
