Falls Church Planning Commission members voted to defer action on site-plan application 2023-0138, a proposal to demolish the former Capital One bank and build a new Yacini Jewelers at the corner of West Broad Street and Falls Avenue. The commission’s motion to defer to the Dec. 18 Planning Commission meeting passed 6-1 following extended technical questioning about stormwater, utilities and some inconsistencies in architectural drawings.
