• Zoning text amendment: require payment of delinquent real-estate taxes and liens prior to issuance of final approval of certain land-use permits (treasurer-requested): Forwarded to Board with recommendation for approval.
• Zoning text amendment: short-term rental standards and definitions (administrative-permit pathway and special-permit fallback): Forwarded to Board with recommendation for approval. Staff will produce an application packet and FAQs.
• Elk Run Automotive — Category 2 special permit for an auto-repair garage: Forwarded to Board with revised conditions, including a clarified cap of six vehicles on-site and an optional condition requiring repairs with garage doors closed; staff to submit alternate condition language.
• Dencrest Farm Kennels — Category 13 special exception to allow a kennel on property under a Virginia Outdoors Foundation easement: Commission recommended approval subject to staff conditions (motions and conditions forwarded).
• St. Patrick Orthodox Church & School — Multiple special exceptions and permits for a proposed campus on Old Marsh Road: Commission recommended denial to the Board of Supervisors citing traffic, narrow-road and sight-distance concerns.
• Orgo (Ward Road) rezoning (R1 to R4 for ~1.68 acres to allow six single-family lots): Commission recommended approval to the Board of Supervisors.
Each forwarded item will appear on the Board of Supervisors’ agenda for public hearing and a final decision; staff will assemble Board packets including site-visit notes, revised conditions and technical attachments where requested.
