Commission asks D & M Container to refine proffers, tables rezoning to Oct. 1
A rezoning request (08/24) for D & M Container to convert 13 acres from RA to M1 for a container service facility was tabled to Oct. 1 so the applicant can add restrictions on high‑intensity uses, hours of operation, buffer/screening and trail right‑of‑way to address neighbors’ concerns about noise, truck traffic and visibility from Route 277.

The Planning Commission on Sept. 4 heard a public presentation and extensive questioning on rezoning 08/24, a proposal to rezone approximately 13 acres from Rural Area (RA) to M1 (Light Industrial) for a container service facility operated by D & M Container.
