The commission reviewed potential code amendment 24-04, a draft update to the county's Board of Zoning Appeals provisions intended to align local ordinance language with recent changes to the Virginia Code. Planning Director Stephanie Johnson said most revisions derive directly from the state code and highlighted changes to definitions, appointment language, powers and duties, appeal procedures, and certiorari review language.
