Commission approves routine contracts and park, library agreements

Commissioners approved a series of routine business items and contracts during their Nov. 19 meeting.
Mr. Anderson presented multiple consent items earlier in the meeting, including appointment of a proxy for Clark Water Company at special meetings, ratification of a Clyde Snow engagement letter for Clark Water Company (retainer/payable $3,000; term 10/28/2024'12/31/2025 with Farmington City sharing costs), and several low-dollar, low-risk agreements for Western Sports Park (example receivable $4,077.44). A contract amendment with Tempest Inc. for software services showed a payable amount of $3,000 with a term through March 28, 2028. The commission approved items 2 through 8 by voice vote.
Lane Rose presented an agreement with Rocky Mountain Power for electrical infrastructure at the Western Sports Park; no dollar amount was listed on the agenda and the commission approved the agreement unanimously.
Dustin Volk presented a limited-use agreement allowing Weber State University golf teams to practice at Valley View and Davis Park: "It's a receivable of 4,000 total each school year split between Davis Park and Valley View, $2,000 each," he said; the term covers a three-year span through the end of the 2027 school year. The commission approved the Weber State agreement unanimously.
Josh Johnson presented a Clearfield City proposal for an outdoor art installation on library property along Main Street. The installation is approximately 3-by-3 feet at the base and about 6 feet tall; Clearfield will insure and maintain the installation, and there is no cost to the county. The commission approved the library agreement unanimously.
All items were approved by voice vote without recorded roll-call tallies.
