The Campbell County Fiscal Court met Dec. 5 and approved a series of routine and substantive items, including ordinances, resolutions, staffing appointments and purchases.
On old business the court adopted Ordinance O-1224, which amends Chapter 90 (Animals) of the Campbell County Code of Ordinances, and Ordinance O-1324, which updates the official zoning map to rezone a parcel at the intersection of State Route 154/Peach Grove Road and U.S. 27 from agricultural (A1A1) to rural commercial (RC). Both measures passed on second reading by voice vote after motions and seconds were recorded.
Under new business the court approved Resolution R87-24, which sets AJ Jolly and Pendry Park fees for the 2025 park season; and Resolution R88-24, authorizing the Judge Executive to execute an agreement with Nexigan Communications, LLC, for the Campbell County Jobs Development Program.
