Director Crocker briefed council on a draft RFP for municipal audit services. He said an RFP had last been run in 2017 and, while the current auditor has performed the city’s audit for many years, staff recommended issuing a new solicitation to comply with procurement best practices and include legally required contract provisions (ORS 279B). The RFP schedule under consideration calls for issuing around Dec. 2, 2024, with proposals due roughly the end of January 2025 and an award for a five‑year term.
