I reviewed the draft articles against the Issues Rules checklist (spelling, clarity, chronology, framing, misinformation, misidentification, out_of_context, quantitative precision, process clarity, context clarity, agency clarity, question emphasis, omission, bias, duplicate). I flagged the following issues and addressed them in the revised articles.
Spelling and clarity issues: Several proper names and numeric values in the transcript are garbled (for example, property owner listed as "Gattonbines," expenditure lines like "dollars 182788¢," and a reference transcribed as "b ADS"). Where the transcript is unclear, the articles either quote the transcript verbatim and note the transcription uncertainty or list values as "not verified." This avoids inventing corrected spellings or numbers.
Speaker identification: The transcript does not consistently provide speaker names. I used generic, clearly labelled speaker identifiers (Speaker 1 (S1), Speaker 2 (S2), Speaker 3 (S3)) and attributed quotes only to those entries to avoid misidentifying speakers.
Quantitative precision: Several monetary and count figures were transcribed incompletely or with noise. I flagged these under clarifying details and used language such as "as transcribed" or "not verified" rather than presenting uncertain figures as exact.
Agency clarity: The grant notification in communications references "b ADS" in the transcript; the awarding agency is not clearly identified in the transcript, so the article reports the transcribed wording and the grant amount but not an assumed agency name.
Omissions and chronology: I ensured that all formal actions recorded in the transcript (agenda approval, consent agenda approval, right‑of‑way approval, adjournment) are listed in the actions arrays and described in at least one article. No substantive public comments or contested claims requiring rebuttal were recorded in the transcript; the Open Meetings Act language was advisory and recorded as read by staff.
Severity notes: I rated garbled numeric and name transcriptions as medium severity because they could affect public understanding; speaker misidentification risk was treated as high-priority and resolved by using explicit S1/S2/S3 labels.
