Chairman Osborne presented amendments to House Bill 2104 and described the measure as a technical consolidation of the felony sentencing modernization enacted last year (House Bill 1792). He said the intent is to place the prior changes into the criminal code so the statutory text reflects existing law, not to change penalties or sentencing percentages.
