Multnomah County planners presented a corrective ordinance to amend the county zoning code (MCC chapter 39) and add back a stream‑overlay standard that had been left out of a previous amendment. Kevin Cook, senior planner with the Department of Community Services, described the change as a technical correction to restore protections for stream overlays. The board adopted the ordinance by emergency to align the effective date with December 21.
