At the start of the Dec. 17 work session, a commissioner requested that agenda item 15 — the proposed adoption of the Washington County bilingual pay policy — be removed from the consent agenda and treated as an action item so that recent amendments could be called out on the record.
"I want for the record to be called out some of the amendments that were made to the materials because I understand materials have been amended," said an unidentified commissioner (Speaker 2) while asking that item 15 be pulled from consent. The chair agreed to the request and directed staff to place item 15 in the action section before presentations for the day's meeting.
The transcript records procedural agreement but no formal roll call or recorded vote on the pull; staff were instructed to document the amendments when the item was taken up later in the meeting.
Provenance: agenda item 15 discussion and directive to move the item to action before presentations (topic begins SEG 015; decision recorded by SEG 094).
