Valencia, the city secretary, presented an ordinance to formally call the May 2025 general election for Addison. The ordinance confirms joint election administration with Dallas County, sets filing dates (first day to file begins tomorrow and the final filing day is Friday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m.), schedules a drawing for ballot order on Feb. 24, and sets early‑voting and election dates (early voting in late April; election day Saturday, May 3). Valencia said the athletic club community room will be the town’s voting site because the conference center is unavailable during early voting.
