Administrator says county shifting network storage upgrade to ARPA to commit funds before expiration
Board approved an IT infrastructure award funded with ARPA after a supervisor asked why sales-tax dollars were being replaced; Administrator Claffer said the move frees sales-tax money for roads and helps ensure ARPA dollars are committed before they expire.

The Dodge County Board on Oct. 15 approved Resolution 24-46 to award a contract for network-area storage upgrades and to use ARPA funds for hardware, software and installation. The fiscal note shows a reallocation that decreases the sales-tax division by $400,000 and increases the ARPA division by $178,242.
