City staff presented an overview of the legislative task force’s draft position papers and demonstrated a new bill-tracking tool on the city’s agenda. The task force has compiled 11 draft priorities — including opposition to restrictions on municipal debt, support for changes to school funding formulas, support for annexation tools, and backing for recycled-water injection projects — and asked councilmembers for feedback before finalizing the documents.
