The Senate agreed to concur with a House-proposed clarifying and technical amendment to S.278 after the Senator from Chittenden Central reported that the Senate Judiciary Committee recommended acceptance. "The house proposed a clarifying and technical amendment, and your committee on judiciary agreed that we should be clearer and accept the technical amendments soon," the Senator from Chittenden Central said on the floor. The President then put the question, senators responded 'aye,' and the presiding officer announced that the Senate had concurred with the House amendment.
