She also requested $6,000 to fund two part‑time temporary employees for overflow work and asked for capital outlay to replace aging scanners, printers and other equipment.
Commissioners questioned whether reclassifications would lift all salaries above a $30,000 floor; one commissioner said he wants to see no county staff paid below $30,000 if possible. The court also discussed a recent state change increasing some jury panels from six to 12 and asked county staff to model fiscal impact.
