During floor proceedings the presiding officer recognized the member from Brattleboro, who moved that House Bill 657, an act relating to modernization of Vermont's communications taxes and fees, be committed to the Committee on Environment and Energy. The presiding officer put the question and, following a voice vote, recorded that the ayes had it and the bill was committed to the committee.
