Kittitas County continues SEPA appeal to Dec. 17

The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners voted to continue a SEPA appeal concerning docket item 2024-13 to Dec. 17 at 2:00 p.m.
Planning Manager Jamie Hayling told the board that procedural questions about whether the county process at '15 b' applied had been raised but that individualized notice had been sent to the appellant. Hayling said staff and the appellant had mutually agreed to a continuance to allow the issues over notice and process to be resolved.
Commissioner (unidentified) moved to continue the appeal; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board did not take further action on the substance of the appeal at the Dec. 9 hearing.
The continuance schedules the formal appeal hearing for the board’s regular public hearings on Dec. 17 at 2:00 p.m.
