The commissioners approved an exemption under local procurement rules and selected Advanced Construction Management to provide construction‑management services for Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) projects with Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. The court approved an umbrella professional services agreement and the first task order: replacement of 10 fire hydrants on the base. County staff said the Navy will supply the hydrants and reimburse the county; the county will provide installation labor and a 7% pass‑through commission.
