Valley Stream trustees approve routine resolutions; resident raises permit delay

Valley Stream trustees voted to approve several routine resolutions at their meeting, including measures on contract leases, signage installation and voucher payments, and they announced a Jan. 27 kickoff for the village's 100th-anniversary celebration in September 2025.

The actions were introduced by the meeting moderator as Resolution 192-24, Resolution 197-24 (to approve contract/lease agreements), Resolution 198-24 (to install signage), Resolution 199-24 (Unit 2 reclassification) and Resolution 202-24 (payment according to vouchers).
