WHEAT RIDGE — City staff and PUMA consultants presented the draft Wheat Ridge Prosperity Plan at a council study session, and council members signaled consensus to move the plan forward for final approval early next year.
The plan, presented by Brad Siegel of PUMA and project manager Andrea, lays out four goals aimed at strengthening the city’s commercial corridors, retaining and attracting jobs (including light manufacturing and flex space), improving attainability and quality of life, and creating an implementation “delivery system” to coordinate city departments and external partners. "We've been working on this almost a year," Siegel said during his recap of the project’s research and public outreach.
